Job Description:
Lantern Care is hiring a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, secure, and scale its Azure‑based infrastructure for nationwide virtual‑first healthcare services. The role focuses on building highly available cloud environments, partnering with engineering and security teams, and maintaining compliance in a regulated setting. You will drive Infrastructure‑as‑Code, CI/CD automation, and containe
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure for production healthcare workloads.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and InfoSec to meet HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform) for provisioning and configuration.
- Own CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to automate deployments and releases.
- Support containerized services using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Implement cloud security best practices for IAM, encryption, monitoring, and logging.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on‑call rotations as needed.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience designing and operating Azure cloud infrastructure in production.
- Strong Terraform or similar IaC experience.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Solid understanding of cloud security, observability, and networking.
- Background in a regulated or healthcare environment is a plus.
