Job Description

Cars Commerce is on a mission to simplify the car buying and selling experience through leading platforms like Cars.com, Dealer Inspire, AccuTrade, and the Cars Commerce Media Network. As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be on the front lines of communication, resolving inquiries and providing excellent service to both dealers and consumers via phone, email, chat, and text.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep product knowledge of Cars Commerce tools and services
  • Deliver excellent customer support across multiple channels: phone, email, chat, and text
  • Track and document interactions and resolutions using Salesforce
  • Escalate complex inquiries to Tier 2, Product, and Technical Support teams as needed
  • Support dealers, consumers, and internal teams with professionalism and empathy
  • Achieve individual and team service level goals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success

Qualification

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to engage non-technical customers
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and team spirit
  • Familiarity with MS Office and Windows; technical aptitude a plus
  • Experience with online media and CRM systems like Salesforce preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems creatively
  • Comfortable working independently and delivering high-quality work
  • Availability to work evening and/or weekend shifts
  • Uses sound judgment and demonstrates professionalism
